Day 7 - Sunset over the Mediterranean

Well back to our routine again. I'm up early typing this blog (I use the light in my iPhone to see the keypad), wife and child sleep in till 10:00 (Samantha actually woke up before Sheryl though). We get up, wash up, and head to...
Dr. Juice.

From there we decided to head to two local markets to check out the knick-knacks for sale. Of course not the smartest thing to do at noon when the temperature is 31.

After 2 hours of torture by heat we made it back to the hotel. We were all hot and sweaty so got into our bathing suits and jumped into the Mediterranean Sea.

The Sea was great but not refreshing. The temperature was about what you would expect in your bathtub at home. The waves were surfing height though, and Samantha certainly enjoyed getting kicked around by them. Me, not so much, but it was fun just the same.

The evening sunset was beautiful and we had another great meal at another restaurant who's name I again could not pronounce.

Tomorrow our tour officially starts although not much happening as everyone else is flying in that day. Hopefully I’ll have something to post but if not consider it a day of rest.

  1. I have a feeling Dr. Juice will soon have a drink called "the Ullrich" on his menu
