Up at a decent hour today (well 8:30). Determined to break our routine and we did. No breakfast today but lunch at Yashka (something I can pronounce) for falafel (vegetarian) and shawarma (meat for me), then has a special treat we went to Cookeez for a dessert of gelato sandwiched between two cookies.
Today was a moving day has we had to leave the Sheraton Hotel to join our tour at the Carlton Hotel. While waiting for our room we decided to go shopping. Now products in Israel are not inexpensive but leave it to Sheryl to find a pair of shoes for $59 shekels (that’s about $20.00 Canadian).
While sitting outside waiting for my two shoppers I came across this Yamaha Tracer (this pic is for my motorcycle buddies who are following this blog)
Looks like a nice dual purpose touring bike but after googling it found out it is only available in Europe (and I guess Israel). Well wife is happy that I won't be buying one.
Finally checked in to our new hotel, rested a bit, then had dinner and met the group of 75 we’ll be spending the next 14 days with. Another early night.
Sorry couldn't focus on anything you said after shawarma
ReplyDeleteOh no! Should I sell my Dr. Juice shares already? BTW, great restraint on not buying the bike - setting a good example in case there are still more visits to the Diamond Exchange.
ReplyDeleteMaddy would kill for one of those ice cream sandwiches. I believe literally.
